Self portrait

I did a quick self portrait yesterday. I think I tend to put too much focus on lines instead of mass, but that's not surprising since I draw a lot of comics.

It's just another manic monday

I went to Stockholm International Comics Festival 2012 this weekend and now I'm back. From outer space. My friends and I sold a lot of fanzines and gave away ALL free copies of Fulago. It was a huge success. I haven't mentioned it on the blog yet, but we managed to complete Triss 2 in time for the festival. Here's the cover.

But instead of rewarding myself by slowing down I have to step it up to finish some new stuff for Carlstad Comic Con. Preferably Hot God or my animation.

I'm also helping my brother on a school project of his. They're creating a game and I'm going to draw some intro images. A link to the game will appear on this blog when the game is nearer completion. In the meantime, here's a model sheet of the protagonist (based on my brother's original design).

Fulago test print

My friends and I have been working on a spoof of the Swedish comic book Galago. We call our (free) comic book Fulago. Ful is the Swedish word for ugly. I finally got the test print today. It looks craptastic! I love it!

Another exercise from Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. This time it's a profile portrait/side view drawing of none other than my girlfriend. I promise, she's more joyful in real life.

Here's a cover:

Martin Piazzolla drew six panels and I did a 15-page comic with those panels. The only thing I added was speech ballons and text, and drawing the aforementioned cover. The result is called Lägenhet 101 (Apartment 101 for all you anglophones out there).

And I'm still working on Triss 2.
