Comic strip competition in UngNT

Nordsken 2012

There's a gaming festival in Skellefteå this weekend called Nordsken. It's going to feature something called Seriehörnan ("The Comics Corner") where you'll be able to participate in workshops and experience comic related talks and exhibitions. You'll also have an opportunity to read fanzines, comic books and graphic novels for free, some of which are made by yours truly.

Seriehörnan will be open between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday September 28 and 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday September 30.

Small update

My animation was screened yesterday at Exit Filmfestival. I should've told you in advance but I didn't know they were gonna show my work until two days ago.

In addition to that I'm still in the middle of honing my drawing skills.

Back to the basics

I'm starting all over by learning some art fundamentals, something I never did when I began drawing. It's time to study some anatomy and perspective and stuff! The blog will most definitely suffer during this learning process, but I promise to keep you updated if something important happens in my life.

Two of my fanzines were reviewed in the latest Bild & Bubbla (no. 191, the one with the cover by Lena Furberg). Pick up a copy today and see what the critics thought about Triss nr 1 and De skabrösas magasin nr 2. Bild & Bubbla is Sweden's biggest magazine about comics.

Wiggety whack! It's a hamster attack!

Hey! It's me! I'm back again!

Swoosh! I'm back from Carlstad Comic Con! It was a really pleasant experience that I hope to repeat next year. Now it's back to the drawing board to finish some comic strips before this Thursday. Slow down? I will NEVER slow down!

Oh! And I'm done with all of the intro images for Telekinetic Abduction. The game is made by Aron Wåhlberg, Björn Elebrink and Jonathan Öhlund and the intro images are made by yours truly.

Self portrait

I did a quick self portrait yesterday. I think I tend to put too much focus on lines instead of mass, but that's not surprising since I draw a lot of comics.
